Context
Gen Z stopped using Facebook Events and nothing replaced it. Group chats lose track of who paid. Instagram stories are not planning tools. People were posting flyers in the wrong place because the right place did not exist.
The problem
Build the tool that does the three things a group of friends actually has to coordinate before an event: invite, collect money, decide.
What I did
I wrote the product thesis before I drew a screen: future events only, money is a first-class object, the feed shows your circle's plans rather than their highlight reels. Cutting past events from scope was the call that mattered most. It kept the app from drifting back toward Instagram.
I owned design end to end: IA, flows, visual system, prototype, and the spec handoff to a six-person dev team. I ran a 60-person beta out of the University of Utah. The biggest lesson from beta: people will create an event but they will not chase friends for $8. We added one-tap split requests and pre-authorized holds, which is what turned a cute idea into something people used.

Outcome
Shipped to both app stores. Raised at a $7M valuation on the strength of beta engagement. 10K+ downloads and 4.2 daily sessions per user.
